Carvins Cove Stables - Midnight Dixie Lady

Midnight Dixie Lady aka Dixie was born and raised on our farm and is our senior resident these days at 21 years young!

She is the horse Scotty learned to ride on as a child. He broke her himself as a young child. In their younger years, they spent many weekends cleaning up the blue ribbons in the show ring, then enjoyed thousands of miles on the trails and countless camping trips.

Over the years, Dixie has had several foals. We have chosen to keep her last buckskin filly, Midas' Midnight Summer, to continue Dixie's legacy on our farm. While Dixie is still in great health, we no longer ride her very much other than around the farm.
